Kelis Get Along With You

Im my recent trip down to Southampton to film a Green screen shoot for my clients Benefex, I listened to some of my favourite old albums, and I thought I would put up 2 posts to mention them.

“Kaleidoscope”  By Kelis

Ok so the whole album isnt brilliant, but the first 5 tracks on it are just amazing… and this “Get along with you”  video is totally bonkers as well!

If your interested, this was one of the first albums that the “Neptunes” & Dark Child produced…and probably put them on the map. Obviously the sound quality from youtube on this clip doesnt do it justice, but I have really struggled to own anything that had BIGGER beats than this track.

The conversation came up for 1,000,000th time that Meg Morris does look a little like lovely Uma Thurman and so I virtually forced her to pretend to be her “just one more time” to break up a difficult shoot about Mortgages! As you can see, she just wanted to get on with it! Always the true professional! The final production for this video should be along the lines of the “Health & Safety Video Supplement” I blogged about a few weeks ago.

Ok I will admit it, im a junkie!


For the past 5 months or so I have been working on a client website  thats just gone live.

The website in question is “Slot Junkies.net” and I suppose I’ve been feeding its Video “habit”!  icon lol Ok I will admit it, im a junkie!

 

My work involves logging into various online casino sites with a “Just for fun” account, and play online slot machine games until I manage to get the bonus feature on each game. Sometimes you can get lucky, and it will come up fairly quick, but on the other hand..well lets just say it can take hours!

Some are based on well known films or characters and the bonus games can be quite humorous.. Have a look at this one I did on Sunday for “The Hulk” Online Slot -

Using a high quality “Screen-casting software” is game is recorded, and then edited down to the section you need before adding the website’s logo and end tagline. To date, I have play & produced over 200 videos for the site, and with more and more slot machines being invented all the time, I hope to do plenty more in the future for junkies!

Health & Safety Video Supplement


Each company has their own written health & safety procedures which all staff members have to make sure they read and understand. The idea behind this “video supplement” is not to replace the procedure, but allows the employees to get a visual “overview” of the policy and helps them remember the key points.

A simple multiple choice question can be added as an additional flash layer at the end of the video, and that would allow you to track if each employee is taking on board the information or not.


I will add the multiple choice question at a later date once I have tested a few different options I have available to me.
