Why all networking meetings are rubbish!

I recently had a cancellation on a film shoot down in Wiltshire and all my equipment was packed up, charged and ready to go. I knew that Ann Hawkins had a networking event arranged so I rang her to ask if she would mind me filming her guest speaker – Bob Garbett.

Initially, I wanted to film Bob’s full presentation so that afterwards, I could edit “in” the powerpoint slides.

I started to edit a short “taster” for Bob, so that he could see what the footage looked like, and started to realise that he came out with great statements about his networking group – O4RB. It became apparent that this short “viral” styled video would be (in this case) more helpful than the full presentation video.

I dont personally think that business meetings are rubbish! Its just a discussion provoking subject title for a blog and a video on you tube, to gain interest in what Bob is doing.. and so far, based on certain reactions its doing its job!
